Access Project to Break Ground This Week

Author Nadine Sapirman, Written Sep 30, 2014

Hold onto your hats, everybody! Construction on the accessibility renovations will begin October 1.
Parking in the back parking lot will be disrupted but not eliminated. Please enter the lot slowly and carefully as things may change from week to week. There will be scaffolding across the back of the building that will block both back doors. The only access to the church will be through the side door and the front doors. Our building will be more cluttered as we live through construction and have to find new homes for displaced items.
We will try to provide advance notice of all significant changes but there will undoubtedly be unforeseen disruptions and difficulties. We ask everyone to please be patient and flexible.
Finally, if anyone sees something related to construction that they think needs to be brought to the attention of the contractors they should contact Paul Smith or Missy Staples (lstaples -at- optonline.net). Paul is the member of the Access Committee who is authorized to represent the congregation in discussing construction matters with the contractors.
