May’s BTE trip will be an outdoor excursion to the Willowwood Arboretum near Gladstone. It is New Jersey’s most comprehensive and longest continually operating arboretum. We will be doing a self-guided walking tour of the core garden areas and buildings within the Willowwood Arboretum. If time permits, we will also follow a walking tour of plants collected from China by E. H. Wilson, a famed plant explorer. The tour(s) will be followed by lunch at the Gladstone Tavern. Admission to the Arboretum is free. We will start at 10 am at the Arboretum.
RSVP to Carol Levin (firstname.lastname@example.org) by May 3 so we can make lunch reservations for the appropriate number. Anyone who wants to is welcome to skip the arboretum tour and just join us for lunch.
