WORSHIP: Crossing Beale Street

Author Avianca Bouchedid, Written Feb 20, 2018

Please join us this Sunday, 2/25/18 at 10:00 a.m. for a service led by Frank Holstein, Lay Leader at the UU Congregation at Washington Crossing.  Music:  Will Magalio.

Are there times in your life when you have serious doubts about whether your good works and efforts really will bring a better world? Whether our religious principles really can reform society? A few years back, Frank confronted this very challenge on a business trip to Memphis when he crossed over Beale Street.

Our guest speaker  is Frank Holstein, a long-time member of the UU Church at Washington Crossing where Frank has been Chair of the Worship Associates Committee, vice-president of the Board of Trustees, and member of the Crossing Chorale and the Membership Committee.

Frank was raised in the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood, NJ.  He and his wife Amelia were long-time residents of Teaneck, and for many years attended, with their two children, the Central Unitarian Church in Bergen County before moving to Mercer County.
