Worship: Give Me the Simple Life

Author Avianca Bouchedid, Written Jun 2, 2016

Please join us this Sunday, June 5th, at 10:00 a.m., for a service led by Rev. Jennifer Kelleher, which kicks off this month’s theme of Simplicity.

Simplicity can be both a way of being and a state of mind. Unitarian Transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau wrote in his famous work Walden: “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” Join us this Sunday as we explore how we might consider “simple living” and/or “living simply”.
