Please join us this Sunday, March 6th, at 10:00 a.m. for a service led by our guest speaker, Karen G. Johnston.
A poet once said that hope is a thing with feathers. But what about other kinds of hope? What if the kind of hope we need is one that that both helps us live in a time without guarantees or promise of certain outcomes? What if the kind of hope we need is one that sustains us as we persist in being the change we want to see in the world? Let’s explore hope with feet.
Karen G. Johnston is currently the sabbatical minister at First Parish Church of Groton (MA). She was welcomed into preliminary fellowship this past December and will be ordained into the Unitarian Universalist Ministry later this spring. She lives in Florence, Massachusetts with her family, though she originally hails from Oregon. She blogs at awakeandwitness.net.
