Worship: Live Greener – Transform Your World

Author Avianca Bouchedid, Written Apr 19, 2016

Please join us this Sunday, April 24th, at 10:00 a.m., for a service presented by the UUCSH Green Sanctuary Committee in cooperation with Rev. Jennifer Kelleher.  Guest speaker:  Daniel Aronson, Associate Professor of Economics, Raritan Valley Community College.

Dan Aronson has been a professor of economics at Raritan Valley Community College for 31 years.  In his newspaper columns, he points out that energy efficiency — including effective transit alternatives — improves quality of life while reducing costs. In turn, reduced household costs make it more viable to press for work time reduction. Aronson’s presentations generate lively discussions among audience members.  Prof. Aronson will make the case that our community has the capacity to provide serious leadership on these issues.

The Green Team’s Earth Month worship service will address ways that greener living can improve our quality of life and lower our spending while reducing pollution and resource use–win, win!
