Whether or not there is something we are meant to do with our lives, the idea of calling: the mysterious ways in which the universe tugs at our lapels – is a fascinating one to explore. We’ll take a look at one of the great stories about calling, the book of Jonah, and whether there is a “holy tug” in the universe towards our truest selves.

Rev. Bob Janis-Dillon has been a Unitarian Universalist for over thirty years and an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister for eight years. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English Literature from Birmingham University in England, and a Masters in Divinity from Meadville-Lombard Divinity School in Chicago. He is currently a spiritual director in training, studying at Moravian Seminary in Bethlehem, PA, where he lives. Prior to that, he was Senior Minister of the First Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hunterdon County. He lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with his spouse and two children.
