Worship: What Our T-Shirts Say

Author Avianca Bouchedid, Written Jun 14, 2016

Please join us this Sunday, June 14th, at 10:00 a.m. for a service led by Scott Kitchen, Worship Associate.

The T-shirt is one of the most common garments worn today. It’s a plain unisex article of clothing with short sleeves, a round neckline, and no collar and is easily cleaned and relatively inexpensive. As we explore what it means to be a people of Simplicity, we will explore what our own simple T-shirts say about us, what we value, and who or what we remember on this Father’s Day. Those attending this service are strongly encouraged to wear their favorite T-shirts and might be asked to share a short story. This service was inspired by a worship service presented in 2013 at the First Unitarian Church of Rochester (NY) and is presented by Scott Kitchen from the Worship Associates Team.
