7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to learn about other religions and faith communities through the Neighboring Faiths curriculum. Moreover, when able, the class will visit nearby houses of worship after learning about their respective faith traditions.
Previous visits included the Bridgewater United Methodist Church, a Buddhist temple, a Hindu Temple, a mosque, and one of our neighboring UU congregations.
If you have a particular religious background you would like to share with the youth, or are eager to learn about and visit other religious communities, please sign up to be a part of the Neighboring Faiths team via an RE-Connect card! And if you can make the Head Start Spring RE volunteer orientation please sign up here.
