Middle and High School (Grades 7–12)
We have embraced family ministry, in which children and youth participate in the worship service as full and important members of our faith community. Just like adults, children and youth learn by doing and experiencing firsthand, which includes worshiping with our entire fellowship.
Coming of Age classes occur on the first and third Sunday afternoons of the month, from mid-September through early June, for the middle and high school class.
Summer programming for the middle and high schoolers has included weekly watch parties of a series where participants are welcome to bring their dinner and participate in a UU values discussion about the show.
Coming of Age (grades 7–12)
Coming of Age participants are paired with mentors and advisors, who assist them in exploring theology, spirituality, and history through discussion, drama, music, writing and art. Together we engage in meaningful relationship building across the congregation.
Additional dates for group outings, service work, and a heritage trip will be communicated with parents as the dates become set.
