The Roaring 20s are back – are you ready to party?
Each year UUCSH hosts a fun filled evening at St. Mark’s in Basking Ridge and this year is no exception. On November 17 at 6:30 the doors will open for our annual service auction. This year’s theme is the Roaring 20s. The event will transform St. Mark’s fellowship hall into a speakeasy for the evening.
Although this is our congregation’s largest fun and fundraiser of the year, you can attend for free. That’s right for FREE!!! Free dinner, free childcare, free wine and beer. How does this raise money when everything is free? During the month of October we invite you to donate services and items such as a hosting a party, cleaning a basement, cooking a favorite dish, whatever you can do or contribute. The services and items are then auctioned off to the high bidders. There are items at every price point from $5 to $1000. The bidding can get lively so come enjoy the show. The venue is limited so be sure and get your reservation in early. Theme costumes are welcome but not required. It is an evening that you don’t want to miss.
