“We Are Guardians” (documentary, running time 82 minutes) is about people who protect the Amazon rainforest. It offers a poignant portrayal of the diverse group of native people who endeavor to save what is left of the Brazilian Amazon. It also dissects the economic drivers that fuel large-scale environmental destruction, while exposing the corruption.

This event is free and open to the public. We intend to have a short discussion following the film. Before the film screening, we’ll have a vegan potluck beginning at 5:30 pm.
